We are looking forward to tomorrow’s (Thursday, October 19th) Grand Opening Ceremony which will take place after our Meet the Educator Event.
The Meet the Educator Event will run from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Our Grand Opening Ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium which will not be open until 6:15 p.m.
We expect a large number of people in attendance for our Grand Opening Ceremony, so we would ask that our families be mindful of the following:
- Parking at the school will be limited, if you live close by, please consider walking. We would also ask that families consider parking on a nearby side street or alternate location – there will not be parking spaces for everyone at the school
- While will do our best to ensure there is seating for everyone, with the large number of RSVPs, we anticipate that some people in attendance may need to stand
- The event is a formal one (much like a graduation ceremony) which will include speeches by staff and dignitaries (i.e. politicians), student and multi-media presentations
- We would ask that families please review expectations of students/children while attending a formal event such as this (i.e. listening when there is speaking/performing and applause when appropriate)
